{"id":13822,"date":"2024-11-04T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-04T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kuna.bbk.eus\/?p=13822"},"modified":"2024-10-18T10:52:19","modified_gmt":"2024-10-18T08:52:19","slug":"a-bordo-del-tiempo-navegando-hacia-un-futuro-intercultural","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kuna.bbk.eus\/en\/a-bordo-del-tiempo-navegando-hacia-un-futuro-intercultural\/","title":{"rendered":"On board time: Navigating towards an intercultural future"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Within the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/kuna.bbk.eus\/proyecto\/cuaderno-de-bitacora-intercultural\/\">Learning Community: Intercultural<\/a> Logbook, that we have in place in BBK Kuna, in collaboration with UN Etxea \u2013 Basque Country Association for UNESCO, <strong>we will present <em>on board time<\/em>, a theatre play<\/strong>, a result of everything we have shared in our sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>On board time<\/em> is an exciting journey that has led us to reflect on <strong>the richness of our differences and importance of building a more inclusive future<\/strong>. Through the voices and experiences of the participants, we have explored how <strong>interculturality can be a driver for social innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>But what is social innovation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Social innovation goes beyond technology and products. It\u2019s about <strong>finding creative solutions to social challenges, placing people in the centre<\/strong>. In this regard,<strong> interculturality is an endless source of innovation<\/strong>, since it invites us to think differently, to question our own beliefs and to find new ways to collaborate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interculturality as a catalyst of innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By encouraging dialogue and respect between cultures, interculturality enables us to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discover new perspectives: by interacting with people from different backgrounds, we broaden our vision of the world and acquire new tools to tackle challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage creativity: cultural diversity enriches our thinking and leads us to look for more creative and original solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build stronger communities: interculturality fosters social cohesion and helps us to build relationships base on mutual respect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How can we apply interculturality in our everyday life?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Active listening: pay attention to the experiences and perspectives of others, without judging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Empathy: put yourself in the place of others and try to understand their points of view.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaboration: work with people from different backgrounds to achieve common objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuous learning: keep an open mind and constantly look for new learning opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>On board time<\/em> has been a first step on this journey towards a more intercultural future.
