{"id":1795,"date":"2021-05-11T09:23:49","date_gmt":"2021-05-11T09:23:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kuna.bbk.eus\/?p=1795"},"modified":"2021-05-11T11:56:15","modified_gmt":"2021-05-11T11:56:15","slug":"participatory-process-for-developing-the-outdoor-spaces-of-the-kuna-building","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kuna.bbk.eus\/en\/participatory-process-for-developing-the-outdoor-spaces-of-the-kuna-building\/","title":{"rendered":"Participatory process for developing the outdoor spaces of the Kuna building"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Throughout the month of April, BBK Kuna held three participatory sessions in which the <strong>Neighbourhood Consultative Council<\/strong>, made up by 21 neighbours from San Francisco, Bilbao la Vieja and Atxuri chosen by a draw, has played a leading role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone has participated actively in the proposals for <strong>developing the outdoor spaces<\/strong> of the historic building located on Urazurrutia Dock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The neighbours\u2019 proposals were very different: such as for example spaces for poetry readings, rest areas, tables for eating, selecting the vegetation, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the sessions, directed by <strong>Braulio G\u00f3mez<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.deusto.es\/cs\/Satellite\/deusto\/es\/universidad-deusto\">Deusto<\/a> University), facilitator of the process, was at all times accompanied by <strong>Ricardo Ru\u00edz<\/strong>, architect of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kunsthal.es\/\">IED Kunsthal<\/a>, and members of <a href=\"https:\/\/urbanbat.org\/\">UrbanBat<\/a>, experts in participatory urban planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"BBK Kuna | Proceso participativo para la urbanizaci\u00f3n exterior del edificio\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I_RjUz3auQo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We are pleased to say that the participatory process has appeared in several media outlets.
