This analysis provides tools for developing public policies regarding this silent pandemic and aligns the values and needs of citizens with the technological developments of businesses in the territory and contributing to tackle it with the values and needs of the citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main goal is to critically detect and analyse the individual, community and social factors that cause unwanted loneliness<\/strong> to prevent it from becoming chronic, from the ethical perspective of care and with particular attention being given to the impact of technology on this phenomenon. Analysing what unwanted loneliness means and identifying the structural elements that converge in it:<\/strong> gender, poverty, institutionalisation, precarity \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beneficiaries<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study is aimed at achieving a positive impact on groups that are particularly vulnerable to chronic unwanted loneliness<\/strong>: elderly people who live alone or are institutionalised (rest homes); single mothers; caregivers of elderly and dependent persons; socially excluded persons.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should be remembered that it is not necessary to be alone to feel alone and vice versa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fieldwork<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We seized the opportunity of the location of the \u201cBBK Kuna\u201d building to reach out to its surrounding area by conducting semi-structured interviews with neighbourhood people and agents.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The methodically collected \u201clife stories\u201d<\/em>, will be the raw material used to make a documentary and\/or book to supplement the theoretical analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proposal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will complete the research project with a generic proposal of best practices (statement, agreement, synergies\u2026)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
