Most believe that people in the future will work less hours than they do now and 59% support an unconditional basic income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BLOCK 2 \u2013 WORK AND SPACE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teleworking will be the most common option according to 58% of citizens and that businesses will invade our private digital space. 80% believe that digital nomads will be normalised and be an opportunity for accessing the jobs of other countries without leaving your own territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BLOCK 3- THE GREEN FUTURE OF WORK<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>63% support the European Green Deal for a fair and sustainable economy and believe it will help our youngsters access quality jobs in the Basque Country. 80% believe these new jobs will depend more on merits than contacts and that new emerging businesses will be the key players in 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most citizens rely and hope the gender pay gap will disappear in 2050 and workers\u2019 rights will have more protection. 57% see the presence of immigrants necessary in the future labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BLOCK 4: DIGITALIZATION AND ROBOTIZATION IN 2050<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most citizens believe robotization will free us from the most unbearable workloads and that it is not a threat for their jobs. 88% would not accept their boss being a robot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>46% believe that digitalization, robotization and the development of artificial intelligence will not generate new jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BLOCK 5: UNAWARENESS ABOUT THE PROFESSIONS OF THE FUTURE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most Basque people have not heard about many of the professions that experts say will shape the future and are unaware of the jobs that will generate the energy transition.
