On The Dick Cavett Show in 1960. When Mr. Baldwin was asked.<br>&#8220;Why aren&#8217;t blacks optimistic? They say, &#8216;Everything is getting better. There are black mayors, there are blacks in all sports, there are blacks in politics. And even the most recent achievement is that they&#8217;re now in TV commercials.<br>&#8220;Is the situation improving while still being hopeless? Well, if I&#8217;m honest, I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s much hope as long as people keep talking in this peculiar way. The question is not what&#8217;s happening here with black people, with people of colour, although it&#8217;s a relevant issue for me, you know? The question is what&#8217;s going to happen to this country, I insist&#8221;.<br>Today, we ask this question in a Spanish State context, what is going to happen to this country?<br><br>Yes, what is going to happen to this country?
