Green Pact and challenges for Europe in the face of the climate crisis.
The eCivis association is once again inviting the youth of Bizkaia to get closer to the European Union with a new meeting, this time at the BBK Kuna space, to talk about the climate crisis and sustainability.
Thus, on 1 March from 18.00 hours, the climate issue will be addressed, a highly topical subject in view of the current situation of drought and conflict in the agricultural world. Izaskun Bilbao Barandica, Member of the European Parliament in the Renew Europe group, and Olatz Ortega Vidales, a volunteer in the ecofeminist association Ola Sin Plástico, will take part in BBK Kuna. Javier Sánchez, coordinator of Berdeago, a European association for sustainability, will be in charge of the event.
The Pintxo&Vote meetings, free of charge after registration through the todosjuntos.eu platform, are part of the Got My Vote! project, which eCivis is developing in the territory of Bizkaia until May, with the support of the European Parliament and the Department of Employment, Social Cohesion and Equality of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.
The aim of these meetings is to encourage dialogue between young people and citizens in general on current issues. All this in the context of the next elections to the European Parliament on 9 June 2024. eCivis invites the youth of Bizkaia to follow its social media profiles and to participate in the platform todosjuntos.eu to be aware of future meetings that will take place in the near future and until 3 May, in the context of this project.
