Women´s footbal summit: From the field to change. Women, Sports, Rights.
Inauguración de la Jornada por BBK y participación en panel.
A unique event that merges technological innovation and social awareness on gender equality, through video games created by young people for young people.
On March 7, one day before March 8, International Women’s Day, the closing event of the Googaz Create competition will be held at BBK Kuna, where the winning game will be chosen among the three finalists. This competition, which has had the participation of young people from Vocational Training in Bizkaia, has been an innovative experience in which students have developed virtual reality video games on SDG 5: Gender Equality. The youth have worked for five months to create these awareness-raising proposals that seek to sensitize citizens in a close and dynamic way.
The winning game will be the ambassador of the next phase, Googaz Play, which will tour different municipalities of Bizkaia to continue working on gender equality with more than 3,000 young people, and will reach ESO, Bachillerato and Vocational Training schools, as well as the general public. BBK Herriz Herri will be in charge of taking these immersive experiences to every corner of the territory, using technology as a tool for social change.
