FILANDÓN  BBK ARTEGILEAK

Come and knit together as a community! We look forward to seeing you at our Filandón at BBK Kuna. Would you like to spend an afternoon surrounded by yarn, needles, and friendly conversation? As part of the BBK ARTEGILEAK exhibition, we invite you to participate in a Filandón: a traditional gathering where manual work is combined with conversation and the exchange of knowledge. Come and discover “El Festín del Festón” (The Feast of the Festoon), a collaborative textile tent created by artist Laura Marchante (Bokashi) together with the Trapagaran Housewives’ Association. This work was created to give women a voice and visibility in the public sphere, protecting traditional techniques so that they are not lost over time. Bring your handiwork, your desire to learn, or simply your curiosity. We want this tent to continue to grow with your presence. This activity is carried out in collaboration with Soledad Santiesteban and her textile workshop.
