The year 2035. The world has been conquered by robots. Almost every task that once required human action has been automated. Work has become a scarce and coveted commodity, and people struggle to survive in a hostile society that questions their worth.
In a remote place, far away from the implacable dictatorship of the metaverse, a handful of hardened quixotes, defenders of language, champions of the verb and guardians of the word have taken up arms against the onslaught of civilisation, forming an elite circle, called ‘The Rhyme Club’, which battles against the merciless tyranny of progress with the shingle as its only shield. From their trench, they stand up to modernity and resist being bowed down by the jargon of the machines.
Today, despondent after the loss of their revered caretaker, they are desperately looking for someone to replace him. A person capable of deftly handling the only discipline that no gadget has yet managed to master: poetry.
