On 30 November, Kuna will host the workshop “Policies and interventions for youth unemployment: from theory to practice”, organised by the ISEAK Foundation, a research and transfer centre in the field of economics.
The workshop will address the entire process of developing measures to combat youth unemployment from the triple perspective of, on the one hand, the production and analysis of knowledge-generating agents, on the other hand, the contribution of facilitating agents and, finally, the direct application of intervention entities.
In this sense, the event will be attended by expert researchers from international reference centres such as ISEAK, the ESRI in Dublin or the UEHR in Athens, and agents specialising in intervention such as BBK Fundazioa and the Integrated Centre for Professional Training in Social Innovation in Otxarkoaga.
This initiative is part of the Cowork4YOUTH project, a European project aimed at studying youth unemployment policies in peripheral regions of Europe such as Greece, Ireland, Italy and Spain, financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. A team of international experts from the Institute of Urban Environment and Human Resources in Athens, the Rhodes Centre for Historical and Social Research SCE, ISEAK, ESRI in Dublin, Exeo Lab in Italy, Mid Sweden University and the European Leader Association for Rural Development will participate.
NOTE: The event will be conducted entirely in English.
