Tribute to Ángela Figuera

The Escribe-Lee / Idatzi-Irakurri Elkartea Association is organizing a poetry recital in tribute to Bilbao poet Ángela Figuera Aymerich, one of the great voices of the Spanish postwar period.

During the event, some of her most emblematic poems will be recited, vindicating her figure and supporting the proposal that Bilbao dedicate a statue to her in a prominent space in the city, thus recognizing her contribution to literature and her social commitment.

Rhapsodists from the Escribe-Lee / Idatzi-Irakurri Elkartea Association will participate, accompanied musically by the Latrup Trio. The recital will be held in support of the AMIARTE Association, a Bilbao-based organization that promotes social integration through art and creativity, offering an inclusive space for expression and personal development.
