The body shows the history of our life, when the family, either consciously or unconsciously, does not fulfill some of its functions we learn to have a negative or distorted self-perception of ourselves, fears, blockages when it comes to relationships, feeling incapable.

We may carry these childhood wounds throughout our lives and this will leave a significant impact on how our body will handle emotional stress and, consequently, perhaps cause damage to our immune system and our overall physical health.

In other words, there is a close relationship between how our family is, how we learn to relate to it and the somatization of emotions.

But not only the bond is reflected in the history of our body, but there may be traumatic events such as abuse, accidents, interpersonal violence, catastrophes that leave an impact and come to take their toll on our body, in addition, the earlier these traumatic experiences happen the bigger the wound and the greater the likelihood that it will be reflected in our body leaving in its wake an unbearable imprint that is not integrated in a natural way by the overwhelming of the event lived.
